We made a last-minute decision to book the tour, thinking it would be a simple morning. However, Ipanema Beach proved to be an absolute gem in Rio de Janeiro. With its golden sand, crystal-clear waters, and breathtaking scenery, it's no wonder this beach is world-famous. Whether we wanted to soak up the sun, take a refreshing dip in the ocean, or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll along the shoreline, Ipanema Beach had it all. The surrounding neighborhood offers a wide range of amenities, including trendy bars, charming cafes, and upscale boutiques. Not to mention, witnessing a stunning sunset at Ipanema Beach is a truly magical experience that will leave you in awe.

Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro is like a global superstar. It's incredibly famous and always buzzing with gorgeous people.

My favorite beach spot was Copacabana, a place with four kilometers of sandy coastline. It was filled with sun-kissed bodies basking in the sun, and beach vendors persistently approaching tourists, hoping to make a sale. There were countless games of football and volleyball played until darkness fell. One cannot miss the distinctive black and white wave design painted along the promenade of Copacabana beach. And let's not forget about Ipanema beach, where the city's stylish and carefree crowd gathers, flaunting their Brazilian tans. To truly appreciate the grandeur of this city, one must climb to the top of Corcovado and gaze below, taking in the sight of elegant little boats floating on the water, the glowing neon lights along Via Atlantica avenue, and the tiny figures leisurely strolling, playing, or resting on the sandy shores of Copacabana. It's a breathtaking spectacle that surpasses anything I could have ever imagined.

On our final day in Rio de Janeiro during the carnival, we found ourselves wandering through a neighborhood where most shops and cafes had closed their doors. Uncertain if we would stumble upon an open place, we were relieved to discover that Colombo, a historic cafe, was welcoming customers. It appeared to be the only one open in the vicinity. Colombo holds significant importance in the city and is often recommended, even earning a mention on the walls of another historical cafe, Cafe Tortoni in Buenos Aires. Stepping inside, the atmosphere enveloped us gently, creating a sense of comfort. Personally, I adored it. We savored some exquisitely prepared coffee and pastries, enjoying the delightful flavors. The bill totaled 94 reales, and we were impressed by the exceptional service provided by the kind staff.
